My family join me in conveying our sincerest condolence to the Enverga Family on the untimely demise of Senator Enverga. We lost a voice in Parliament Hill as he was the lone Filipino-Canadian in the federal parliament. We were looking forward to working with him in arranging a parliamentary visit to Manila which he had proposed to lead in mid-2018. His commitment and passion in promoting Philippine-Canadian relations and protecting the welfare of the Filipino diaspora will always be cherished. Our prayers are with Mrs. Enverga and the children at this difficult time. May they find comfort in their faith.
