Dear Rosemer, Rystle, Reeza and Rocel: I first met Jun at a meeting of Toronto Catholic Parent Involvement Committee. I have witnessed his work and followed his successes from Parent to Trustee to Senator. It was an honour to have known such a strong individual, passionate for all children and especially those with additional needs like my daughter with a rare syndrome. This passion never left him as he worked tirelessly for multiculturalism and especially our mga kababayan. He was called to serve a greater calling. He will be missed but remembered with love and respect.
Our deepest sympathy to you Rosemer and your family. Honourable Senator Tobias Envarga Jr was loved by our community. His accommodation to the needs of our community never ceased and always advocated for us. We will certainly miss him. May he rest in peace.
Dear Rosemer, Rystle, Reeza and Rocel, Please accept sincere consolations from Cilla and myself. Tobias was a wonderful person and a terrific colleague. He was an inspirationally upbeat, optimistic Canadian and his service to our country from the Upper House of Parliament was remarkable. His passing has come far too early. We will miss Tobia... but will remember him with love and respect. ...peter
To Rosemer and family,
Your loss is shared by the Filipino community and Canada. My wife Mila and I have known Jun for many years. Personally, I've never known a community leader and public official as dedicated, tireless, accommodating, and always with a friendly smile as Sen. Enverga. He was a friend even to those who disagreed with his politics but principled enough to confront those who treated him unfairly. It's unfortunate that his selfless devotion to his duties and the stresses that arose from unjustified, harsh and vile criticisms may have contributed to his early passing away. Rest in eternal peace, Jun, your legacy will live on in our community and Canada as a whole.
I am so sorry about this great loss to the Filipino and Canadian communities. My thoughts and prayers continue to go to family and friends. It was always an honour to host Senator Enverga when he visited Ward 10, the heart and soul of the Filipino community in Toronto. He will be missed.
Our deepest condolences and prayers to the Enverga family. His endeavours helped a lot in the Canadian-Filipino community. From Quezon Province?? down here to North America ?? Enverga’s family has a treasured legacy in politics and being a part of our history”Paglilingkod sa mga kababayan”.
to God be the glory.??????
Sending our love and prayers ... deepest sympathy Rosemer and family ..
It is with deep sorrow that we bid farewell to a gentleman, who has joined his creator unexpectedly. We.will forever remember our First Filipino Senator, whose dedication to public service was exceptional, whose love for his country and his countrymen was unequalled, and his love for his family endless. In the short time that we have known each other, we remember you as a lively fellow, eager to make changes for our community. It is sad that your service was shortlivedt, but the years you have served the Filipino community were sterling and will always be remembered. To Rosemer and your children, may you find solace and comfort in the thought that you have surrendered to God, our creator, a fine gentleman. Our love and prayers are with you.
Joséphine Paul Mancini-Napoleon & Family, I am also known as SuperNova Arizona, we know Senator Hon. Tobias C. Enverga Jr, for a long time as a Nobleman, he was very nice, honest and have a good character; who dedicated his life to caring of other and still he managed to be loving husband and father to his family. During my 10th birthday he awarded me on behalf of Canadian Senate with Recognition of Unique Vocal Talent. I was the youngest who received Recognition of this kind from Canadian Senate by Honorable Tobias Enverga in fact I was surprised that he was monitoring my progress. Next, Senator Hon. Enverga surprised me with the invitation to be a member of his team to go to Trenton Military Base to welcome Canadian Army Unit from rescuing people after Typhoon Haiyan-Yolanda in Tacloban City Philippines. From this time our families kept friendly dialog & contact with him. The last time we met Senator Hon. Tobias Enverga and his wife 2 weeks before he passed away on October 27 where he was amazed by my performance. Losing Senator Hon. Enverga, Canada and Filipino lost a great man - an example of implementing Multiculturalism, Ethnic Equality, International Cooperation, and Support for people in need, but most of all his family. My family and I will keep praying for him. Senator Hon. Tobias Enverga may you rest in peace.

You will be greatly missed. I will never forget one of the best kababayans in Canada. I remember joining my first Independence Day celebration in Toronto and seeing you for the first time. I did not know who you were because I was new in Canada. But there you were posing with our kababayans not minding the summer heat and smiling for the photographs. I was hesitant to approach you but you called everyone for a picture with you. You are really a people person. We love you, Senator. Rest in peace.

Rosemer, the repose of the soul of your spouse, a good leader, Senator Jun Enverga, has been included in my daily masses and prayers since I heard the tragic news a week ago. Over the past decades, we have had so many wonderful interactions with Jun, his family and later as The Hourabale Senator Tobias Enverga. We are saddened to learn of our long time friend's sudden passing but happy to see all the advocating he did during his life on behalf so many Canadians. The Honourable Senator Tobias Enverga worked tirelessly on behalf of Canadians as a voice for many in the Filipino and disability communities. He was a humble, hard working and a jovial man with a big heart and many friends on the hill and across the globe. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family Rosemere, Rystle, Reeza and especially our friend Rocel during this time. Rest in Peace Jun! Your legacy will live on…

It was in November, 2014 when I invited you to grace the championship night of the Bathurst Finch Community Sports Club. You awarded the basketball champions of the basketball tournament and the Chess Tournament at that time. Now you have gone and we will continue to carry on this community program that will di isolate our youth and increase the confidence and leadership of our youth and community residents in playing a basketball sport and playing a chess game that shares the values of fairness, competition and leadership.
