Progressive Conservatives victorious in Scarborough

Senator Enverga congratulated Patrick Brown and newly elected Member of Provincial Parliament Raymond Cho of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario for their decisive win in the recent by-election in the riding of Scarborough-Rouge River.

Raymond Cho served the City of Toronto as councillor for Ward 42 before being elected as MPP. Before serving public office, Mr. Cho worked as a social worker for the Catholic Children’s Aid Society, the Toronto Board of Education and the Scarborough Board of Education.

His election to Queen’s Park marks the first time a Korean Canadian was elected to the Ontario legislature. |
